The site features premium listings (homes, lots), community showcases, lifestyle resources, and a strong visual presentation of lake and mountain living to attract both buyers and sellers looking for upscale lakefront experiences.
CHALLENGE
The client needed a modern, visually engaging site to showcase luxury properties that would reflect the upscale nature of their listings.
Navigation was complex: many property categories (waterfront, interior, waterfront lots, communities) made it difficult for visitors to find what they want quickly.
The existing site lacked strong branding consistency, and user journey clarity was weak, which could lead to high bounce rates.
SOLUTION
We restructured the site architecture to simplify navigation: clean menus for “Buy”, “Sell”, “Search by lake/community”, etc., so users find categories fast.
Designed high impact visuals at the homepage featured properties, lifestyle sections, and prominent calls to action (“Search All Listings”, “Featured Communities”, etc.) to engage visitors.
Implemented responsive design so the site looks great and works well on all devices (phones/tablets), particularly important for property hunting on-the go.
Built trust elements: client testimonials, real estate agent profiles, and clear contact info on every page.

WeSellKeowee tasked us with crafting a visually compelling site that reflects the luxury, serenity, and lifestyle of lakefront living around Lake Keowee and the surrounding Upstate SC region. We built a design strategy to highlight featured listings, community features, scenic imagery, and high quality photography ensuring the aesthetic matches the premium market.
Given the broad scope of services (search by lake/community, property types, neighborhoods, relevant resources), we mapped the user journeys carefully: how someone arriving via “waterfront homes in Lake Keowee” vs “interior lots” vs “neighborhood guide” would find content easily. We simplified menus, streamlined categories (by lake, by community, by city), and improved filtering/search to reduce visitor friction.
We redesigned key pages, homepage, listing pages, community/neighborhood pages, resource areas with a clean, modern layout. Emphasis was placed on high impact hero sections, strong listing photo previews, and consistency in visual style. Also ensured that the site design works beautifully across all devices phones, tablets, and desktops so potential buyers and sellers have a seamless experience.
We conducted deep market research focusing on the Lake Keowee region: inventory levels, pricing trends (interior versus waterfront), high demand communities, buyer behavior, etc. This informed content (e.g. market reports, pricing by property type) and helped with SEO targeting (keywords like “Lake Keowee waterfront homes”, “homes for sale in Seneca”, etc.).
Throughout the project we worked closely with The Cason Group. We held consultation sessions to define priorities (e.g. which lakes/communities to highlight, which types of listings to feature, what local content/resources are most useful to visitors). Their input shaped content approach, photography, and the way listings are presented.
