Subject7 Inc., developers of the incredibly fast and easy Subject7 software test automation platform, was selected to by Leidos to automate software testing for 160 applications for the United States Department of Health and Human Services.<\/p>\n

Leidos supports several projects with the Department of Health and Human Services as part of its Health Services contracts. These projects and others required more than 2,000 test cases. The projects encompass 160 applications written on a variety of different technologies including, but not limited to, .NET and Java technology stacks.<\/p>\n
Leidos had testers with a broad range of skill sets, but preferred a solution that did not require much technical experience, so that testers could focus on testing effort instead of creating an automation framework and maintaining it throughout the life of their contract.<\/p>\n
It was critical for the Leidos team to have a cost-effective solution that required no coding, scaled out of the box, worked across various browsers, and was easily extendible if need be.<\/p>\n
After evaluating several COTS test automation products, including HP QTP, Microsoft Visual Studio, and an internal Selenium framework, and finding these products provided unstable test results, the Leidos team decided to pilot Subject7\u2019s platform. They were quickly impressed with the functionality and ease of use.<\/p>\n
